Hello Budgeteers and to the new people welcome to our merry budgeteering band:hello:. (Pointy Penguin I think that makes you our Robin Hood!!)
So far I have spent £5.31 of my budget. All of it on extra non-grocery food. Bought lunch yesterday as I didn't take any to work and today I have bought (and already eaten) a milky way.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

hello all
Thanks pp & all for keeping us all going.
it's near the end of the week and as my signature shows near the end of my budget:o. hopefully friday will be my nsd (fingers crossed).
I am so proud of me my £16.10 win is still intact, and my resolve not to just treat myself is not crumbling:cool:.
good luck all:D:hello:SadSadJenJen

Mmm don't know about Robin Hood, I think that honour should go to F_F and she named us budgeteers and hopefully she would look better in the tights!
I think I am on about £25 so far this week which is not great and I have a busy weekend planned going out Fri and Sat so think I am going to have to start from scratch next week and be very strict with myself not to let this whole month go to pot.
Well done all you budgeteers that are ploughing through.
sadsadjenjen what is your treat going to be?
kate_pixie hope you enjoy your night out what are you going to be doing?
Happy Friday everyone. As the forums are closed this weekend I will hopefully start the new thread on Sunday when they are open again fingers crossed it does not take too long!Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Hey all!
PP - not sure I will look any better in tights than you
Spent money on dinner last night with a friend, but that comes from the entertainment budget not from my Weekly Spend money, so woo to that!!
I'm taking a week off from this challenge as I will be off on my holibags tomorrow and don't want to budget for that - I have enough money to cover our petrol etc, and don't want to feel like I'm counting every penny!
I'm counting yesterday as my 2nd April NSD as I didn't spend any money I hadn't already budgeted for - need to go and post on the NSD thread and update my signature now! Happy Friday :j0 -
Thanks Pointy_Penguin,
My FOOL of a best friend has now decided to spend her 30th Birthday in, cooking lasagne for us lot  as everyone is trying to save money. She's considerate to a fault!
I have decided that I shall spend the money I had set aside for dinner and drinks (about £20) on the biggest bunch of flowers I can find. That'll teach her to try and save me money!! :rotfl:
How's everyone's week adding up? Lots of green names on Sunday I hope. xx

£1.85 on tea and two Crunchies (One for me and one for my pal)
£3.75 on lunch.
£0.95 on another tea
Total spend for today £6.550 -
Hi pointypenguin
I have finished my spending week day and would like to declare a total of £6.58 which I am happy with as this means I have £3.42 to put into my treat fund. Over the week I bought:
Woman magazine 90p
Womans Own 90p
Tights 98p
Coffee in Costa coffee £2.00
Garnier firming body lotion £1.80 (half price in Sainsburys at the moment).
I would like to be counted in next week for another £10 but aiming to spend less than this week if possible barring temptations and lack of willpower
.
Have a great weekend everyone :beer:I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
