Not if you spend it before BR, you can't lose what you don't have..BSC No: 2450

If its for injuries, then no. Make sure you keep all the paperwork though!
Repair the car though - do you work, so you would be able to keep it in the first place? I would hate for you to spend the money for the car to go.
The tax you would lose. (I assume you are both going BR?)0 -
If they get the tax rebate before BR and spend it on living expenses, BR fees, then they wont lose it will they? Or I am not looking at this right? It is still early for me! lolBSC No: 2450

After thought.
How about using the tax rebate to pay for the BR fees? Its spent then....... And ORs tend to turn a blind eye to how their fees are paid for anyway.
The injuries money - it wont go anyway, BUT the OR may decide that you used that to pay the BR fees, as it will all be in the same pot so to speak. So withdraw (slowly) what you are not going to spend on the car and keep the rest under the mattress until after BR - it will be spent on day to day expenses anyway.... won't it???????0 -
