    OK Mark your post has caused lots of debate on this subject.
    but at the end of the day you need to save into a pension and you are being offered a good pension by your new employer SO TAKE IT !
    You also own a property with an interest only mortgage so you either overpay each month or change it to repayment and then overpay that.
    Cant afford to do both ? then sit down and account for every penny you spend each month ! Cancel the sky/gym/nights out/takeaways and fags ( they are bad for you )
    Buy a bike and cycle to work, take you meals to work, cut down on the alcohol and use Martins website to save money on everything
    You need a home to live in mortgage free and a pension to live on in your retirement. GOOD LUCK
