Damn those Credit Expert ( experian ) people!!!

I'd read about them here. get your free credit report details for 30 days.....

So i signed up. had a shufty of my details, all good stuff, no defaults, nothing bad and a score of 953 ( which cost me a fiver to find out )

In week three of the 30 day freebie. i sent them a polite thanks but no thanks. please accept this as my formal notice of cancellation etc email.... ( as they requested ).. then they sent me an email back. I had to reply to confirm i wanted to quit.... yup, no problem. did that...... done and dusted..........


NOT...........!!!!!!!!!!!!

DAMN THEM TO HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cancelled!
Now they're taking money off me !!! ( well Tesco Visa )

I sent them back an abrupt email reminding them I'd cancelled and reminded them of the email they'd sent me after I'd sent my quitting letter...... and I just got an auto-responder letter saying thankyou for your email, we will look at your information and reply in 8 days!!!


HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS HAPPEN TO THEM ??????????

    Didnt happen to me but i didnt use any of there services other than the free trial.
    If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

    Hi seriously stressed
    exactly the same thing happened to me!! not only did i email (and they replied telling me that it had been cancelled!!!) i had also written!! but guess what!! i got exactly the same email as you on monday!! :mad:
    Have emailed back telling them that i no longer have membership, and am waiting to hear!!
    I wish i'd telephoned!!!

    Hi there

    I used the free trial too - cancelled by email and had no problems or payments taken. I guess it's bound to happen on occasion. Hopefully you'll have no problem with reimbursement.

    Hi I had similar happen. Sent them an email to cancel when they sent subscription reminder. They still took the money so promptly requested, again by email, that they cancel subscription and reimburse money I also attached copy of original email.
    They were actually alright and refunded the money within 2 weeks.
