I'm icing some fairy cakes and I remember from somewhere that I can make a nice icing using chocolate and margarine, but I can't remember the ratio - if anyone can tell me I'd be very grateful

Try this - chocolate buttercreamI'll add this to that thread later to keep recipe ideas together
You could alwayd make your buns into mushrooms, using an apple corer to take out the "stalk"

Thanks for the suggestion Penny - but it was actually one where you mix marg in with melted chocolate rather than make butter cream that I was looking for0

Hi
You can make a chocolate icing by mixing double cream in with cooled melted chocolate.
They often add a knob of butter for a glossy finish.
