Both the numbers quoted above for Npower are wrong! One is a couple's no' who appear to be selling something and the other is a car insurer's. The latter had obviously had many other calls as they knew the correct no, 0800 028 4111.CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420

Unlimited card holders - do you have to take a photo or anything else with you to subscribe to the scheme? Also, it mentioned you get benefits if you recommend a friend. Maybe it would be worth someone referring me if I decide to go for it?I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0

No you don't need a photo to apply for the Cineworld card. All you need is your bank details and proof of your address (bank statement or similar).
They take a photo of you uning a digital camera when you apply and print it out to go on the card. They give you a temporary card when you apply, and then send you a proper printed plastic one through the post about a week later.
My girlfriend and I have had a Cineworld card for about a year now and it's great. You can use it as often as you want. On a couple of particularly wet, miserable days we've been to see 2 or 3 films in a row. It costs about £6 to get into the cinema now, so go twice a month and it's paid for itself.0 -
Only tried this at Sheffield Cineworld (formerly UGC) but you can actually use the Orange Wednesday offer in conjunction with the Unlimited card.
This means that every Wednesday you can get 2 tickets for free. Obvioulsy you have to pay the £10.99 montly subscription so it's not completely free, but good v4m nevertheless.0 -

Don't know if this may help another time but for automated answering services - if you wait for the intro message to be over and for the 'press one for' bit to come on, press 0#0#0# which should take you to the top of the operator list.
They put you straight through to a sales advisor.
This should work with all automated answering services - I've used it a lot since finding out about it on Richard Hammond's 5 o'clock show.0 -
just shows you what npower are really like at the end of the day stay well clear0

I've just rung (again) and was told that the company I'm with (Atlantic) would save me £20 against their prices!!
I said could they still send the quote and cinema ticket. The operator said he thinks N-Power have shot themselves in the foot with this offer!!! (I told him to take a look at this site which he said he will do this evening) I'm still surprised that there are some people who don't know about it0 -
Thanks Sparky67 for this tip.
I rang NPower to query an aspect of their utility quote that I'd received and was also told the cinema ticket would be issued separately but I'm still waiting.
Could I ask has anyone else received their ticket yet ?0
