    Well, the thing is, if I am investigated, I will reveal all – that’ll be his problem! I imagine if I was investigated, and DIDN’T do this, the taxman would regard all my turnover as profit, as I have no evidence of outgoings.

    All I’m concerned about for now is that I am not doing anything illegal by not actually taking a day off work, driving into town, knocking on the taxman’s door and telling him “By the way old chap, I can tell you where I get my goods from, if you’d like to know?”
