what about the threads we already have on this today
? Do we have to say it all again or will someone merge them?

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed, but I'm getting a subliminal message from this forum today that... houses prices are continuing to fall.
Anyone else noticing this, somehow? There certainly aren't a zillion threads discussing it already, so not sure how I'm getting this feeling. Very odd.0 -
Hi folks,
This is a thread specifically linking to the main site's news story about this.
There will be many more like this in future weeks, as the site increases its news output.
Thanks

Can I sugest that you lead in future by posting links to the relevant article, rather than waiting till some hours after they've all come out and been discussed to death on other threads?
It might make threads like this genuinely useful instead of curiously redundant and confusing.
Would it not be easier to just combine all the existing (3? 4? 5? - lost count) threads on this subject already today under this one heading, rather than just leaving it adrift to add to the clutter?
Just a thought.
Should add - this 'news' was announced on the BBC about 11am, but this thread didn't make it out till 12.42 - if the idea is in future to post 'official' threads on the subject, there's not much point unless they're a bit quicker off the mark.0 -
buy now dont miss the boatHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. The one where you showed us Dithering Dad is a complete liar. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE Forum Team0

Can I suggest you not take what the Beeb or articles say on faith, its not 18 months of price drops according to LR...
MSE could get some kudos by being right if a little slow, rather than quick and wrong...0 -

Took me a while to realise what was wrong with this. It's the 'official' tag. It sounds pompous and stage managed. The whole point is that you can't believe one source, even if it comes from the great God MSE. Hence a DISCUSSION forum.0
