Yep, Exil. Just been having a rant to the kids about the 'in my day' thing. It was fun to see how horrified they were when I told them we wore plastic bags in our shoes to keep the rain out! I never knew why, as my socks would be just as wet from the condensation! EEEW.
Seriously, I was hoping that with space, they'd bring their mates here and not hang out on street corners. I fully understand that this might be a looooney idea.0 -
We did the essential jobs ie rewire, repair leaking roof, damp proof course, replumbed as all plumbing was in lead, fitted a kitchen and bathroom. We have since saved to do jobs such as a new drive and garage. Next is central heating when funds allow.The best bargains are priceless!!!!!!!!!! :T :T :T0
