                    Hi all,
Sending my incomings and outgoing off to my OR soon so just wanted to check this was all ok. Thanks in advance for any advice! I have done this by working out monthly amounts.
Per month
Incomings:
£1,380
Outgoing:
Travel to and from work: £130.00 (based on £6 per day)
Travel outside of work: £43 (based on £10 a week towards petrol)
Food: £368 (based on £85 a week for food and toiletries)
Medication: £39.10 (pain medication needed for neck condition)
Rent and council tax: £192.00
Dog costs: £83.70 (based on food, medical needs and grooming)
Electricity: £50.00
Gas: £20.00
Home insurance: £13.50
Sky: £30.00
Internet: £10.00 (needed for work as I am a writer in my free time, trying to build a portfolio)
TV Insurance: £11.63 (based on £139.50 a year)
Dry cleaning: £15 (need to dryclean work suits)
Home phone: £25.00
Mobile phone: £20.00 (again needed for my writing I do outside of standard job)
Clothing: £40.00
Hair: £10.00 (hair done every 3 months costs about £30)
Holiday fund: £30.00
Total outgoings: £1130.93
Leave: 249.07
Does this all look ok? Have I missed anything? Any idea what I'll be left with once the OR takes his amount?
Also, if I was pregnant, would they take in to consideration outgoing for cot / pram etc for getting ready for the new arrival? We hope to start trying for a baby soon and I'm scared I won't be able to buy the simple things!
Thanks all

How many people is this for? just you? If so, food etal, is way to high. Dog way to high it has to come out of your food budget, Sky you cant have, put it through phone/sky/internet/ mobile in for £40ish if you are on your own. You are paying £85 a month on them, way to high, that has to come out of your excess. Medication £40 month!! cant you get a yearly certificate for about £120 per year for prescriptions?
Just a few thoughts, you would be better of doing a proper SOA and posting it on here.

from that £261 excess he takes 60% so he would take £1560

I take Nurofen and use heat pads medication wise, but I'll drop it if it's too high
What sort of food allowance can I have then? And dog allowance?
Also, am I right that I can put something in for birthdays?0

No you can claim cost for pets seperatly, but it is limited to £20 PM31.7.30 Pets
Pet food/care should, in general, be included as part of the family housekeeping expenditure when making an income payments calculation. If the bankrupt has not included the cost of caring for a pet within the housekeeping expenditure then an allowance of up to £20 per month can be included for the care of all family pets. Should the bankrupt maintain above average numbers of pets, or exotic pets requiring specialist food/care, he/she should be informed that the additional cost of funding the pet(s) must come from the amount of surplus income left with him/her after deduction of the assessed IPA/IPO contribution.Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all …………. 0 0

Help me PLs do the proper SOA and people will be able to spell it out to you more, what you can get/claim0

Bit of a long read but tells you what you can and cant include on your I&E
Figures the OR's use are here http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/DocumentLibrary/Policy/Excel/Household%20Expenditur.xls
But use with caution, and read the important notes bit carefully
Also note it has not been updated since 2008, and is based on an AVERAGE in 2006/2007, so is both out of date IMHO and will fluctuate depending where you liveThats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all …………. 0 0
