Ikea plates and bowls for 24p each

Not the most exciting offer, but here goes...

I have been looking for a decent set of affordable plates that still look the part and I must say I was amazed at this price.

At the rate we go through plates at home and the fact that every year designs change and force you to buy a new sets, I have saves a fortune. I not only got what I needed, but even got some spares to help futureproof my investment.

I have not found anything that is even near the quality of this stuff for under a pound. To give an example, to replace the ones I got from wilkinson last year will cost me £1.50 per unit..... No decision to make, buy new and take odd ones to charity!

Go to the ikea website and search for motto for the complete range

I have bought the little bowls before - back when the range was only 19p per item.

They are ideal for a home starter set.
    Looking forward to the future.

I purchased these about 2 months ago and must say so far they have lasted well, however i purchased some mugs that were of similar colour to make up the set and these are not fairing so well. The majority of them now have tiny little chips around the rims but we are heavy tea drinkers and this could be down to how the kids wash up as they are not the lightest handed people in the world.

I have had these since october time & have to say they are fantastic, I have 8 plates & 8 deep plates(which are actually like soup bowls).
I have 2 children & *touch wood* still have all 16 intact with NO chips:cool: value for money I'd say!
