We're getting ours from 1860 (Greenwoods). Its £79 for suit, shirt, waistcoat, ruche and hankie. We need 5 in total, so they're giving us the grooms free, plus an extra 10% off as we ordered online (the men go into the store to be measured though!!). Then we get free European flights as a thank you or up to 7 nights accommodation in various hotels in the UK!
TBH, we choose them because the grooms best man and dad live miles away, and 1860 have a branch down there. The guys are being measured and picking up the suits from there.
Have been in to look at styles etc, and it's really nice quality!

My fiance got his suit at the sale in Jaeger last year, I think it was down to £200 from £500.
Got married 23rd May 2009, many thanks to all on the Weddings and Anniversaries board for their help and support!

We are getting 10 (!) suits from Youngs. Just the tails and waistcoat - the guys are using their own white shirts and we are ordering cravats and hankies from a fab guy on ebay to match bridesmaid. (found the right colour in Moss, but like you we were a bit wary of them!). Comes to £63 in total per suit for the Youngs part (inc damage waiver). The real clincher was that they do a student discount, so we should be getting 20% off too! fantastic!

(I say should, because i'm a bit worried they are going to pull the "must be NUS!" line, and i don't have an NUS card... ah well, we'll see!)

Having just come back from a bridal sale i picked up a special offer leaflet which if you book before 11th april 2009 you can get upto 35% off hire.

Tailcoat package - Tails (black/navy), fancy shirt or premier waistcoat, trousers, shirt, tie/cravat and hanky - normally £79, now only £55.30 or £51.35 if paid in full.

Prince Edward package - 3/4 length jacket (navy/black), fancy shirt or premier waistcoat, trousers, shirt, tie/cravat and hanky - normally £89 now only £62.30 or pay in full £57.85.

This is with Formal Affair. They have a price match promise where they will beat any alternative quote/pricelist by £5 per outfit.

Stores are Mainly based in the Midlands with one in Wales. HTH.

    Hi Nic,

Were going with Moss Bros, We went to the one in liverpool and the lady who helped us was amazing, my OH had already been a few weeks before and didnt manage to get much sorted but that was his fault. Lol!
Were getting 5 so the grooms is free but were splitting the cost so its just over £50 each and we pick them up the sat before.
We have 2 of the best men (OH is having 3! dont ask!lol) in different parts of the country and they can just go in and get measured up at their local one.
We had to pay £20 deposit and rest isnt payable till the day we pick them up

Dont mind you asking at all. Just dug the receipts out and theyre £71 for 4 with the grooms free for the Lingfield Suit so between the 5 of them its £56.80 each.

*** Edited to say that this isnt including the shirts as theyre going to get their own. Sales woman also showed us some shoes from primark that were nice and only £15 ***
