Fairy All-In-One Dishwasher Tablets at Asda - QUICK 3.5p each tablet!

Went to my local Asda this afternoon and they had some packs of Fairy Lemon All-In-One Dishwasher Tablets that had manufacturer packaging stating 25% extra free (45 +12), so that's 57 tablets. They were probably old stock as the other bags were 42 tablets - exactly the same product from what I could see though. Anyway, the 42 tablet packs are £9.00, I asked CS to check the price on the 25% extra bag as there were no price labels for them and the till announced they were £2.00! That makes each tablet 3.5p, cheaper even than Asda's own Smart Price tablets. And the Fairy ones are all-in-one so no salt or rinse aid needed. Probably a lower price to clear out stock, and there were only 5 bags in the shop so I bought them all. Compared to the normal bags of 42, this effectively equates to 285 tablets for the price of 46!

Not sure if all Asda's will have any left, or if they're the same price but got to be worth a look if you live near one?

Last went shopping proper two weeks ago in Asda in Cwmbran and my Mrs ended up with one of the large packs for cheap. I was a bit surprised since we had loads left from a previous offer. As you say they're closing stock by the look of it so stocking up looks good!
