Have spoken to LLoyds TSB who say they are no longer dealing with the debt
Continue to pay Lloyds until they inform you in writing the debt has been passed on.

Lloyds TSB are in breach of OFT guidelines which clearly state:
2.6 Examples of unfair practices are as follows:

    d. not ensuring that an adequate history of the debt is passed on as appropriate resulting in repetitive and/or frequent contact by different parties
    e. not informing the debtor when their case has been passed on to a different debt collector
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional
  • I agree with the last post,...I had my debt passed on by lloyds...who also didnt inform me...i got it in writing and then paid AIC...who bullied me on the phone...but i just refused to talk to them by phone and put everything in writing ad continued making the same payments i was making to lloyds......AIC then put me on a 6 monthly review....aftr about 18 months i negotitated a full and final for about 50% of debt ...they are pain !!!! ..but stikc to yur guns and do what u wud normally do...not what they want to make u do
