Have to join the band of people who think the beer is a bit....
Great bottle; very tactile. However, I have to say that for 4.8% abv, the beer tastes really weedy and well, rather tasteless.
Still it is cheap. However, I for one won't be too upset when the offer is over.0 -
My wife cleared out Asda once (around it's release) at 30p a bottle - split packs. Definately a winner this beer. It has been tipped to be the next Stella. Perhaps only tipped by the Belgian brewer Inbev (who owns Brahma).........and who also own Stella.
Has Stella had it's day? - nah!!!Reassuringly expensive0 -
I don't think Stella is in any danger! Don't overchill the Brahma or it's pretty poor. Mildly chilled it's ok.if i had known then what i know now0

Don't think they would care ... both made by same firm !Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -
I think Stella has had its day, only because they have under sold it charging £9.99 a case. I would never pay more than that for it now. So I only would buy it for Christmas, as thats the only time you see it on offer for that price. Brahma for me any day, bigger bottle, and a crisper taste, and alot easier to keep hold of when you've had a few too many, thanks to the curves
