BCW?Debt Collectors?

Options
Hi,
I have just received a call from my husband at work and he told me that a company who identified themselves as BCW had rang his employers number.

His boss passed the phone to my husband and they then proceeded to ask him his postcode( which he gave!) and then asked for previous address.
My husband was then wary and informed them he couldn't remember as it was long time ago.
To which they replied "oh ok then.We must have the wrong number.Sorry to bother you" and promptly hung up.

I asked my husband why he gave his postcode without knowing whom he was speaking to as it could have been anyone!
They didn't ask for the full address though.

I have googled and found out that BCW is a DCA.

Hubby had a few problems with debt over 3-6 years ago so we can't think what it is about.

Now that they have the postcode will they now be writing to our home address?
Though I know that the postcode covers our very long street.

I told him not to speak to them again if they call.
He should not be receiving calls like that at work surely?
Hiss boss said the person on the phone was very rude.

I can't figure out how they got his employers number either.

I am due to give birth in 4 weeks and this is all I need on top of the endless bills and worry.

Thanks for reading this far.
