Was in JJB yesterday. You can get any name and number. The top is £25 without name and number and £30 with.
Think the full infants kit was £25 with name and number.
My son James is 3 so thinking of getting him a top with
    james
    3
as can't really think of any Everton internationals whose name I could put on!!!!
Everyday when he gets up he asks to wear a footie kit. I can't believe a 3 year old can be so fashion conscious. My other 2 boys were never like that.
    Anyway I digress.

When I was driving into work today they were saying on the radio that gary Neville is to scared to come out of his hotel as he doesn't want to be seen on the streets of Liverpool. Personally I don't think there was anything the matter with what he did. Had to laugh as Morientes said no Liverpool player would ever celebrate like that. After being at the Derbyswere Robbie Fowler sniffed the white lines and Stevie G ran the whole length of the Gladwys Street pot and kettle come to mind.
    Digressing again - better go.
    Regards
    Anne

    Well said Annie,
I wholheartedly agree. Get over it Liverpool fans, Fowler would and could have done so much worse if he had one. I'm a Chelsea and Woking fan however so I am not biased as I hate Man Utd as much as the next guy, but players are constantly doing stuff to the other teams to celebrate getting one over each and the rubbish that Neville gets from the Liverpool fans, he was just celebrating so. Incidently, Liverpool fans should just be happy in the satisfaction they knocked Utd. out the cup and may do them in the league and get further in Champions League. Neville is pretty insignificant to the other stuff.

As for the Kit, This kit lasts at least another 2 years, so getting 3 on the back.... remember your boy won't be 3 for the next 2 years and "being fashion conscious" he may not feel like wearing it if he is a year old?! Only a suggestion. Sounds like I good deal from JJB though. Quite fancy that.

Sports World & Associated companies are 22.49 plain and £38.49 printed.

I think theyre £26 for the name and number at the local one down here at Sports World but youre limited to Beckham, Owen, Terry and Lampard.

And on the any mature adult wearing a football shirt question, what are you on about! Its a sign of support for your team. I wouldnt go to the pub when an England match was on without my England top on!

A price war’s already begun on England footie shirts. The current cheapest are at Adsa, which is selling England away crewe-necked shirts (red with gold numbers), at £22 for adults and £17 for children. However these are only available at 42 of its superstores. See if there’s one near you by going to the Asda site and clicking on Your Local Store on the top right.

Sports World (the shop formerly known as Sports Soccer) is selling non name and number shirts at £22.49 for adults and £17.49 for kids. Find you nearest store.

Sports World is also running a promotion where if you buy a new England away shirt, it gives your money back if England wins the World Cup. England are 2nd favorites so keep your receipt.

Can you find them cheaper? Please post your finds below.

One question is..Should people be buying ANYTHING from Walmart (ASDA), given their anti-workers rights reputation?

Staff at Norwich Asda store were putting out racks of the £22 red/gold shirts today. They were attracting a lot of attention.

While I'm quite keen on football I think there should be a rule that overwight/over-aged adults should be banned from wearing the shirts...they are not doing anybody any favours and really don't look good in them !!! :rotfl:
Just because somebody is certain doesn't mean they are right!

If the shorts don't look good on "overweight/over-aged adults", then they won't look any better on the "stick insect" children will they.

Not £30 for name and number in Woking's JJB. Infact, £45.... no real dear there!!
  • Paid £22.49 in Sports soccer for largest youth for 9yr old ds. Got no 10 Owen one as he is Joseph Owen! and will be 10 on may 10th in time for world cup. If England win it will be money saving as i will get my money back. Not holding my breath though.
