Roof cleaner in East Belfast ?

My parents are wanting someone to give their roof tiles a quick clean. Quite a bit of moss has gathered on it. Can anyone recommend someone who would do this sort of job. Dormer type house so not too high. Thanks in advance.

Loads of people that live near me got it done last year. Looked great at the time. I believe it wasn't that cheap to get it done (I heard a few hundred mentioned).

Most of the roofs are now back to the colour they were before the cleaning and it looks like the moss is back.

I would imagine you'd have to pay extra to have the roof treated for moss rather than just a simple power wash.

Once you get it cleaned to keep it that way, get some copper wire and roll it out along the roof just below the ridge tiles on both sides of the roof. The copper acts like a poison to moss and over time as the wire is exposed to rain very small particles will coat the roof and will stop the moss from growing back. Copper locking wire should be available in rolls from most motor factors and is relatively cheap (£8-15) per roll, one roll should be enough to do both sides of the roof.

Thanks for recommending David McClean. Came out the same day my Dad called him and then turned up the next day to do the job. My Dad was very pleased with the job done and the price. He has had him back again since to repair a leak on his conservatory and also clean it. Again great job done at a good price. He now asking him for a quote for some painting ! Thanks again.
