Tenants 'haggling' as rents fall

Just thought I'd update this thread as I did take my own advice. Not quite as I'd hoped, in that our current landlady refused to lower the rent, in spite of my best efforts/evidence. But given several other (bigger) properties were being offered at up to £200/month less, it seemed too much to throw away.
So we've settled on one £175/month less.
Kind of dreading the move, but at least it means I get to experience the positive side of deflation myself.
Yeah one of the problems with renting, having to move if the rent goes up.
Would not want to be signing a rental agreement for anything more than 3 months at the moment with house prices bottoming.0 -
My tennants of two years tried to haggle a £200 reduction in February.
They now live elsewhere and my new Tennants are paying £75 PCM more.

I've just put that Pickles tw@ on my ignore list. It doesn't have anything of value to contribute.
Why ignore the posters who stimulate you most?
