I need help to increase my income

I was wondering if anyone can help?!!!

My husband and I have Just purchased our new house which ment increasing the mortgage and we also have a credit card that we used for our wedding costs that we are paying back. My husband who is the main wage earner has been told of possible redundancies in his company.

If my husband is made redundant we will find it hard to make all of our payments. I would like to get another job to bring in an extra income but presently work full time on shifts so need to find something that would work around this. Im looking forward to all of your suggestions!!:p

how about bar work? they're usually in shifts, not too demanding and a great way to earn a bit extra?

Do you have enough room to take in a lodger or be hosts to foreign language students?

Why not do party plan? I do Usborne books but there are lots of companys out there to choose from. That way you can work it when you like, weekend craft fairs/ evening parties etc If you want to know more about my experiences just PM me.

I also do party plan and its ideal as I also work full-time so work my party plan when I can and when it suits my family life. Its great fun as well and you get to meet lots of nice people.!

Thanks for all of your ideas!! There is a pub just down the road from us so I will give it a try but luckily my husband has just found out that he isnt going to be made redundant!!! The party plans sound like a good idea and I might keep them in the pipe line for later
