Using Amazon vouchers question please

What happens if you want to buy an item say for £54 and you put in £60 worth in vouchers to cover it does the remainder of the voucher stay in your amazon account to use for next time or do you lose the extra you put in. I usually pay the extra in cash but just wondered if I can do this instead

Yes the balance will stay in your account to use another time!0

Vouchers can be time limited though- for example if they are in payment for a survey site or similar. They can have a time limit of about a year- ask amazon if you are not sure.
