Where to start with contacting creditor?

Hi,

I've got my SOA done and I am close to contacting my creditors(8 credit card companies) about my debt which is £30,000 between them!

I'm not sure whether to write or phone to each and every one of them with a pro-rata proposal and hopefully to freeze interest as well.

Or should I contact CCS first and get their advice and help.

People say if I contact the card companies first, they will use strong arm tactics and put me under more pressure and perhaps try to persuade me to sell my flat!

Please help with any advice. Many Thanks Fluff.

Well £30K is quite a lot of money on credit cards. Perhaps if you post your SOA here people will be able to take a look and see if any advice available from the member of this board however I personally wouldn't contact the creditors seperately until you have got a bit of professional advice from one of the debt advice groups like CCCS
