E:10/3/06 Navman GPS4410 Bluetooth GPS + SmartST Pro £69

Navman GPS4410 Bluetooth GPS Receiver and SmartST Pro. (version 2)
Navigation software for Pocket PC's is on offer at scan for £69.33
instead of their usual price of £116.37

I don't know anything about it except that the same unit seems to be
£169 at comet and £205 at pixmania.

I checked for compatability and my PDA (strangely) isn't compatible.

Looks like a good price though.. You need to go through http://www.scan.co.uk/todayonly/ to get the low price

I got the 4400 version (which is the same apart from the software) from Carphone Warehouse a few years ago when it was £50. I have tried the receiver with iPaq 2210, Axim X3/X5/X50 and they were compatible. It's also TomTom, Navman SmartST (obviously) and Navigon compatible.
I also managed to pair it with the P900/P910i phones but I didn't have any software to test on them
  • Excellent price for a Bluetooth GPS Receiver and the Routing software.

Has the SIRF IIe/LP chip set which is exactly the same as my Holux GR-230 which is fantastic.

Looks like a wonderful value package.

Don't panic, it's still £63 but you have to look at the price and use the 'buy' button on the todayonly page. If you go to the info page it shows the normal price.. Scan's todayonly page always works like that.

By the way - I expect the price will remain until the next todayonly page update - tomorrow (1.3.06) usually between 11am and 11.45am
  • Be aware that the postage is a whopping £7 so the actual price is £77!

It is possible to get free delivery from Scan but you need to be contributing at the forums at www.hexus.net

All their deliveries come by CityLink. I think it's £7 regardless of size.

too true, I was charged £7 for delivery on a mouse as I had to send a faulty item back. They wouldnt refund the postage as I had kept the mouse.

I bought a few weeks ago and was impressed, though I'm upset I paid more (but not 116, only around 85 inc postage).

Kit had GPS, car power lead for ipaq (though not 3970) and GPS, and suction mounts for gps and ipaq. Maps are whole of 'Western' Europe.

Its not perfect, but at the price I'm well happy
