I sent a £5 token payment to my creditors. I haven't heard anything from any of them since.

Although I do have a block on my home phone that doesn't allow withheld numbers to contact me!

Don't panic! It is nerve wracking but you will be fine!

Hi been sorting out my money to send to creditors, do I need to tell my credit card companies take they will be receiving a token payment or just send it and let them contact me as regards to not the minimum payments fullfilled??

Also I have loans one - NATWEST which goes out on the same day OH is paid so do I ring the loan and ask if I can pay a lower payment or tell them I am going on a DMP as I fear they will take the money anyway. And the other with BARCLAYS I can withdraw my wages before this is taken and call them to let them know I am willing to give a lower payment this month but again if I tell them I am going on a DMP surely they will take the payment and send me over my ODraft and I will end up with loads of charges? (o/draft is 200.00 loan repayment should be 332.38)

Any advice is appreciated.

I am going to re-post on DMP thread, as I think that is what the outcome will be. And everyone has such good advice, thanks for the advice and thanks for caring. Redrose x
