Can anyone give me a rough idea about scrapping washing machines and other house hold appliances? Ive been looking online but so far come up with nothing
Just a rough guesstimate on prices would be good so i can see weather its better off to try and sell or not.
Thanks.

The steel market is pretty random atm, just ask you local scrapies what/if they will pay.
tbh its not likely to earn you more than the time it takes to deliver.0 -
I sometimes manage to gather some copper from construction, that's pretty good, lead also, but appliances are just not worthy the hassle, unless you have large quantities0

My OH scraps quite a few cars. He was astounded a couple of months ago at how much the scrap value had plummeted. He got £25 for something which would previously have brought about £80.
As someone mentioned above, best to check with your local scap yard for current prices. Might be worth holding onto them for a while if the price is expected to go back up.
Good luck.0
