I ordered on the 26th, I sent an email on the 2nd to [EMAIL="orders@guardianoffers.co.uk"]orders@guardianoffers.co.uk[/EMAIL] asking what the status was (the money came out on the 2nd from eastfields). The Guardian offers email sent an email to eastfields, copying me in, asking them to reply and nothing. No response. Pretty poor service considering it's just a tiny plant I have ordered and the money came out 5 days ago.

I just emailed again stating that I didn't receive a reply and could it please be followed up and the guardian offers email bounced so must be full at the moment

I ordered on the 27th and haven't received or heard a thing. Money was taken on the 1st april

I wonder if these are still available if I order now... Can they stay in a pot or need to be planted in the ground?

I also have been trying to chase information regarding the delivery of the fig tree as I am in the process of moving!

Anyway had gone down the e-mail route, with little result other than the e-mail being forwarded asking for a reply, so I called the Telegraph readers offer helpline, again without much success.

A previous poster is corrected and they are being sent out by Mr Fothergill's Seeds Ltd (Eastfield Nursery).

I have just spoken to someone there using the telephone number 0845 371 0518 to be told that my order was sent out in a large batch of orders on the 6th April and that I should expect delivery any day. I hope this helps others and that they all turn up in the next day or so.

Called the Guardian helpline to enquire but it was just an answering machine message saying to check direct with the supplier named on the website.....however, I can't see the supplier mentioned on there?

I ordered mine on 28th March too and received it today,its now potted and looking good in my garden:D

They can be potted,ive potted mine in a large pot as its easier to contain the roots and to take in if its frosty. Im not sure if its still available though
Edited to add that the fig tree is small (but they apparently grow quickly), mine looks really healthy and had good instructions with it, and was well packaged.
