It was salmon, cod and prawns all reduced to something like 60/70p each in sainsburys. Add white sauce then boil and slice potatoes on top. Then grate some cheese and throw in the oven!! To be honest its not that cheap!!!
Anyway, insofar as being frugal Im not the stereotypical type like my mate who steals toilet roll from other peoples toilets and dilutes milk with water to make it last longer. Im a modern skinflint!
Simple money saving things like just buying dvds second hand on the cheap, watching them then selling them on again for the same money. Instead of paying £14.97 for a new one, just wait a couple of months and you'll get it for a fiver on ebay.0 -

No, we would not buy a full price dvd either. Music is a bit of a weakness but we are quite sgtrict on our music budget. DH sometimes gets sent a sort of bumper pack of stuff to review, and thats helpful.
