Help!!!

hi im new on here but thought this was probably the best place to join to get information on the financial area (wich is not my strong point)

a few problems i am faceing! sorry!

im 22 and have a really secure job within the DWP, i get paid an ok wage, however, i split up with my (ex) boyfirend about a year ago and just before and just after the split a lot of places offered me credit!. so ive ended up with a natwest loan, a halifax credit card, and 2 store cards. ive spent up on all of them, stuck my head in the sand and its all got a bit out of hand. im now in arrears with the c/card and store cards, and now my mobile phone (which i never have been before) my loan gets paid off religiously though, i have never missed a payment)
me and my ex had a sofa, it was all in my name, and the original price was £999. when we split he said that he would maintain payments, i sent him the documents and thought everything was fine.untill i got a letter from barclays partner finance informing me that they have traced me (to my new address) and the outstanding balance is now £2600. he has moved without telling me, to god knows where, with the sofa!!!

what should i do? because i know ive not got massive amounts of debt im really strugling to manage it all. im not sure with all the missed payments ive had on everything else will stop me being able to get another loan (to consolidate my debts) with natwest even though im in a secure job and have never missed a payment with them. and as for the sofa, what can i do there?

i have been to the CAB and they have given me information on something called a CCCS agreement, but im not entirely sure what this is?

sorry for the length. im just so confused!!

thanks
