We don't have any good independent stores around here, just Wilkinsons and pound shops. :o

I e-mailed Eco Force re: stockists of the recycled sponges and they got back to me right away! They will apparently be available in Tesco in May and by mail order shortly. :D

no - the lakeland one is different - it's a smallish 5x3inch block of what looks like very dense foam - just looked on their site to find the code number for you but it's not there - must have been discontinued - shame, i wanted to get another one - it's made specially for them so guess can't get it anywhere else.

Found this on the manufacturers website

Scoopy's: I have no Scoopys left and won't be making any more.. There will be thousands in the back of cupboards where folk have double glazed, so put an advert in your local paper for one. If you get one and the blade is a bit blunt it can be sharpened on very fine emery or sand paper placed on a flat surface. Happy hunting, Dave Smith.

Luce181's homepage reveals possibly the only place in the whole of the UK to stock the non-stick EcoForce kitchen scourers at £1.50 for a pack of three:
    http://www.wikaniko.com/wexec/order.exe/list?s_cat=4&page=2
Asda stocks the bathroom version and the mixed non-stick and heavy duty scourer for a very reasonable 65p per pack. Seems more MSE to get the bathroom sponge and chop in half! My Tesco doesn't stock the range, but apparently some do.

    Site rules clearly say .

Don't post for personal gain. Except in the referrers section and always declare any interest

Only the main site should be mentioned not a distributor link.

It was I who posted the link not Lucy, you are being overzealous.

And it's also not a distributor link, that is just the normal Wikaniko website so no personal gain for me if anyone clicks on the link, only if they went through my homepage.

I was just pleasantly surprised to see my name mentioned that's all! :D

I got quite nostalgic reading about Mr Scoopy!! I had forgotten about this product. I had one years ago when I lived in a house that had a big problem with condensation. It was amazing how much water that thing could deal with! I think someone definitely needs to reinvent this!

I got a pack of 10 bamboo all purpose cloths for £1 (special price). They also have 2 bamboo tea towels for £1.

You can use vinegar instead of fabric conditioner.
