The DX4400 is pretty good but quite a bit older than the SX200 which, (from the description in the link) has built-in card reader(s) - other than that, the specs look very much the same.

DX4400 comes with a software suite which is quite adequate for processing scans and digital camera images (prints up to A4 are good for the price) - personally, wouldn't say no to either.

If you want Epson-branded ink, Asda is about the cheapest I've seen recently.

I have the same one albeit the 4450, and the seperate ink cartridges are £3.50 each although not genuine Epson ones. I am thoroughly pleased with it although it goes through some whirring and clicking before it actually prints!

I bought the DX4400 when ASDA had them on offer for £25 a few months back. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised.

I recently bought a multi-pack of replacement inks from http://www.cartridgeking.eu/epson-original-t071540-durabrite-multipack-p.aspx and after using a code the total was £19.87 delivered, which I don't think is bad for originals.
This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!

    Thanks for the post.

I am looking for a scanner, don't really need a printer but will keep an eye of these all-in-one and see which is the best.

    i bought the dx440 a while back for 29.99.
considering the official inks total up to 25-35 quid, you get them included in the box so your getting a free all in one printer!
