Out of control 08 parking fines

Hi...(hope this is the right forum) today i recieved 8 recovery orders for unpaid penalty charges incurred during 6 months of stupidity last year. Im not a habitual parking fine collector and all the tickets were, im sure justified.

I want to face up to these and get them paid but my work as a carpenter is becoming thin on the ground and im worried about balliffs visiting the house i share with my girlfriend - could anyone advise what my best course of action is?

Kind Regards
Alec

Im not really an expert on this but would say you really need to make an arrangement to pay on these debts even if it is only a small one that you can afford.

Thanks lou - im wondering if i can make an offer to pay installments to the issuing authority based on the original charge of £50 instead of the £110 it has gone up to, now it has been passed to a county court. There doesnt appear to be an option to pay in instalments to the County Court just a demand to pay in 28 days which is going to be impossible (seeing as i have eight of them).

    Thanks

Re the parking charges, try this forum ;)
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional
