Question about private rented property

I have a quick question for anyone that has any information on this.

I am renting out a room in a flat at the moment and I was wondering if my landlord will get in trouble due to myself having debt problems. I am not wanting him kicking me out of the flat because of it.

Just really worried that he could do this. Or is it just my name that will be affected credit wise? I am not sure if I am on the electoral roll for this place that I am in now if that makes a difference.

Uhm - does your landlord know that you are subletting a room? If not, you could be in breach of your tenancy agreement.

I dont think your debt will affect the landlord except when you can't pay the rent then it becomes his problem.

I think she's a lodger in the LLs flat.
Credit histories associated with people not addresses, so shouldn't affect him; but if it gets to the stage collection agents/balliffs turn up and try to claim stuff from the flat he might not be too happy - nor if they get the phone number...
