Hi We've had good experiences with bathstore so far good delivery etc they dont intsall but usually have a list of locals who are recommended if youre stuck. All the stuff is pretty modern and trendy and youd expect it to be more expensive than it is, in fact we found basins/pedestals came out cheaper on average than B&Q from the square types we were looking at. taps also seem competitive. we bought a basin/pedestal & WC last week, there was an offer on to pick any tap free with WC & basin purchase.
Have never seen any codes around to be honest . HTH

We bought a cloakroom basin and toilet from there last year. Only went in for the basin really which was on offer, £99 down to £69, but sort of got persuaded to buy the toilet at the same time and it was rather expensive. We'd have been better looking around elsewhere or getting a toilet on offer (none were pointed out to us).

Delivery came as arranged, no problems except for the two delivery people were the most miserable we've ever encountered. They rang to say was there a parking space in front of our property (on a main road). We said yes and gave instructions to find us. They parked on the opposite side of the road then said "We don't cross roads when delivering goods"!!!!!!!!!!! Their problem I'm afraid, they could have parked outside. Very unfriendly, never smiled but that's not to say they're all the same, I'm sure most are fine.

We went back for a bathroom design and it took HOURS, I'm sure they had no other customers so just kept us there. The design wasn't that good anyway, for some reason they wanted to push corner baths.

If you want to buy from Bathstore, get a brochure or go along and take a look. Make a note of what you like and want to buy. Then wait for their sales and buy them when on offer. Also, look for similar goods by another manufacturer that you can compare prices online. We ended up with JABathrooms and Diamond Bathrooms (both have websites), fantastic service and both beat everyone else's prices.

Thanks for inf. peeps, now thinking maybe something like Grahams may be better quality and as competitively priced. Suggested by a Grahams employee -lol --. But had a look, and seems true! :j

Bathstore.com are expensive (IMO) at full price but they do have quite a good sale. If you have anyone you can use to get a trade account there, they offer good discounts to the trade and this is how we got our corner sink last year. Again bought the tap elsewhere as expensive when you look what you can get elsewhere. Quality does seem pretty good however so you aren't comparing say B&Q basic ranges to the stuff they sell

    That's useful advice.
We are just about to get stuff on order , Bog, Bidet, Curved Shower Screen, Wash Basin, either Bath Store or Grahams, any other good tips for 'haggling' with either?

    Hi folks,

Looking to get a bathroom from Bathstore and wondered if anyone had any tips for haggling with Bathstore? Maybe not money off, but getting some "extras" free, eg, mirror, toilet seat, etc?

    Yes you can haggle.
I had a quote for items during their sale.
I went back today and said I would buy if they gave me the Sale prices
even though the sale is over. They agreed.
I also complained about the price of the toilet I wanted compared to B&Q
and they reduced the price by £100.
(It's a much better quality item than B&Q and more stylish.)

B&Q have much better prices for things like shower mixers and taps.)
    Good Luck!
