Spend £2 for a copy of your credit file. http://www.experian.co.uk/consumer/ shows you how (there is a free "credit report" but I would stick to the statutory £2 credit report) If you do that, you will see whether there has been any impact on your credit file. I wouldn't expect there to be any impact, however.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Just stressing over the fact that some cheeky so and so is using his address to get credit..
And i can not believe that the police are not interested

All credit records are attached to a person and not an address. This shouldn't affect your credit score.

just to put your mind at rest.
There is no such thing as a 'black list'. Credit files are about the individual, not the address.
I agree about getting the credit file - it will put your mind at rest.

There won't be any impact on your credit file. The relationship was changed some time ago and it now relates to you. Not your address.
You should know that opening mail not addressed to you is illegal. I would simply mark all mail not yours - "Not at this address - return to sender" and drop it in a post box. They will get the message eventually.
You can register a previous occupant at your address on the Mailing Preference Service - clicky.BSC No 248

There is a potential impact, in so far as some fraud notices are registered against an address and not an individual (which is why I suggested getting the credit reference). However, I wouldn't expect this to be the case, and even if it was it would just mean that lenders needed to be very careful about checking who you are. It wouldn't prevent you getting credit.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”
