Looking to buy Sat Nav - any Amazon or Argos codes to help?

I am new here, so if this is in the wrong place, I apologise.

I am looking at buying a Garmin Streetpilot i3 sat nav system. After trawling through the internet, I think they are coming out cheapest at Amazon or Argos - they do have them on Ebay but they are still selling at £140.

What I was wondering is, are there any ways that I can save money by using Amazon or Argos?

If anyone could help, I would be really grateful.

Thanks Lisa

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.
  • There has been much discussion on these boards re the Garmin. Somerfields and Kwik Save had them for £99 recently. You should only have to pay the early £100s. See the Grabbit board.

Sorry, neither amazon nor argos issue discount codes as stated in this sticky:

Theres a dedicated Argos sub-forum here.

Hi there, there are various threads in Grabbit or Shop but don't drop about the best and/or cheapest sat nav.

We got one on Saturday - a Garmin i3 - from Staples for £119.99. This is just the normal price that they were marked up at in store, but it seems to be the cheapest unless you can track down any of the £99 ones in Somerfield.
GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£400
  • Lisa - don't bother trying to find one in Somerfields...all the stores have been asking to send their stock to the biggest regional stores, and I guarantee you they'll have sold out.

Staples at £119.99 is the best bet, as mentioned above...

    Thanks everyone.
I will have a look at the Staples website now - and maybe I'll be able to grab a free gift at the same time!!!

    Excellent, excellent, excellent.
Just put one aside in my local Staples store at the bargain price of £119.99 - cheaper than Ebay - brill!
I didn't realise that the website and catalogue were totally different to the store, as I couldn't find it on their website, so bang goes my free gift!!
    Cheers everyone
