Loan Repayment Struggle

I currently have a loan outstanding of £9,800 and making repayments of £229.0 per month,unfortunately I have recently lost my job through ill health and i claim Employment support allowance of £175.00 per fortnight, as you can imagine repayments are crippling me,obviously i need to inform my bank of my situation,can anybody give me an idea as to what to expect will i be offered a lower repayment scheme or can they enforce payments of the original agreements ?
