U.S. Durable Goods Up !!!

Durable Goods orders in the U.S. jumped 3.7% (3.9% excluding Transportation and anything else they feel like excluding)............after months of falling and after a fall of over 7% in January.

More Green(ish) Shoots, after the good Retail Sales numbers.

Intresting US is posting a good month this month. Have they started to turn the corner?

After the news of building more houses I also saw this today.
    U.S. New-Home Sales Rose 4.7% to a 337,000 Pace in February

Have they started to turn the corner?

    On first glance...........maybe.

But one note of caution should be that these economic numbers from the U.S. have a habit of being quite unreliable, and it is not unusual to have large revisions in future months of previous releases.

However there has to be a time when the numbers will turn more positive, and whether this turns into a durable (:rotfl: sorry) recovery will take time to establish, things can't continue to look quite so bad forever.
