Can anyone recommend a Yorkie breeder?

I am looking a Yorkie.
I want to buy from someone who loves their dogs, and not just out to make a quick penny. My last wee girl was not well socialised, I think she was kept in a shed until we got her, so was very bad with strangers and other dogs.
I would prefer the North direction, (Derry, Tyrone & Antrim) and would pay about £400. I dont want to buy out of the paper. I dont think good breeders need to advertise.

Breed club members have to abide by a code of ethics which ams to ensure that pups are bred for health, temperament and conformation from healthy parents that are not used as breeding machines.
I despair of ads for 'miniature' Yorkies (and...even worse...teacup!). Yorkshire Terriers come in ONE size (approx 7lbs), although, judging by the many dodgily bred ones I come across, they can vary between chihuahua sized and spaniel sized. My friend's husband bought her a 'miniature' as a surprise (from an ad in the paper) several years ago...it's huge!0 -

I rang them before, and they never got back to me. My yorkie was about 5lb, 4-7lb is the standard.0 -
There are 3 local breeders listed on https://www.champdogs.co.uk that might be a strting point for your enquiries. I have no idea as to their reputability (Yorkies are not my breed).
There is a dog show at Kings Hall tomorrow...that's always a good way to 'find' breeders.0
