Hi All
How do I find out if a company in Spain is legit?
I am looking to purchase a car which is being held at an import/exporter in Spain, Car was taken out there when the owner moved from UK but is now selling.
website address is espanaenvios dot com
Website looks geniwine and I've spoken to the live support customer service who answered all my questions.
I asked them about being registered in the EU and the person said they need to ask there superior before giving out information but promised to send to me today/tomorrow so I can verify them.
Is there anywhere I can check them out?
They act as a third party, transporting the car to me. . They also say that an agent delivers the car, I then have 3 days to get it checked out at a garage. If I am then happy they transfer the money to the seller. If however I am not happy they will fully refund me and at the sellers expense
What does everyone think? Anyone heard of them?
Many thanks
Andy

This has all the trade marks of a scam. You are required to put the cash up front, and assume the car will turn up. Personally I wouldn't go near this for any reason. I am sure you can find a 2nd hand car locally rather than going through all these hoops to get a car sent back to the UK.

You can learn a lot about a company by googling them. Before I decide whether to deal with a company or not, I always google them.0

I thought they where abit dodgy when I asked them for details of where the company is registered so i can check them out.
The response I got was "I'll need to check with my superior and that will take a few days"
Anyway I stayed well clear, and Autotrader sent me an email yesterday to confirm they had taken the ad off due to them trying to scam people etc.0
