Tangle Teezer - amazing

Hi, Ive just discovered this brush and it really is amazing. DS has waist length hair and the struggle to brush it every day was getting to the point that she wanted to cut the lot off. After washing it there was no easy way to brush it other than tiny section by section. However, I've just bought the tangle teezer (it looks like a grooming brush for a pet) and it just slides through the hair in seconds with no pain and no pulling the hair out. When I took it out of the pack I thought there is no way it would be any different to all the other things I've tried ....how wrong I was.
They are about £10  but worth every penny. Just wish I'd found it sooner lol

It's not paranoia if they really are after you.

I suppose if you have really thick hair then you would have to separate it and do the underneath first and then the top.
(I could never comb my dd hair from the underneath with a normal brush as it hurt her way too much but the tangle teezer glides through easily)
  • Just thought I'd bump this old thread as I want to add how great tangle teezers are. I had always been a bit sceptical despite my hairdresser recommending them, but I used a £10 off £11+ spend asos discount code last week to get one thinking I wouldn't have wasted too much money if they weren't as good as they are made out to be and wasn't disappointed. They are great, I can now brush my hair whilst it's damp (tangle teezers are apparently not damaging to do this with), I used to avoid doing this as it was waaay too much effort and used to leave it to try naturally but it's quite quick and easy with a tangle teezer, they are also great on dry hair too.

Might make a handy stocking filler for someone? I am planning to get one for my mum for xmas.

Thanks for this thread, my sister uses one to brush my niece's hair but I had completely forgotten about it. Going to buy one for myself as my hair seems to get matted easily at the back and is quite difficult to brush when it's wet.

I would like two really but they are quite expensive. Does anyone know the cheapest place to get them? I think they were £9.75 with free postage on ebay.

Just had a look on the megashopbot, and 9.75 seems to be the lowest price. They have them on asos for 9.75 with free shipping, if you look about, maybe wait a week or 2 you might be able to get a discount code for asos :)
  • i also got one for £2 with the asos code and have found it to be quite good so far as i have recently had very tuggy hair

What is this asos code mentioned in the posts above? :p

    V. long hair here too, and so damn knotty, so I for one would be curious to try one of these fancy brushes!
