Can anybody recommend a good place for buying a used car, in Bangor, newtownards or holywood? I'm on the hunt for a new car don't want to spend more than £1500 but the local garage near me just takes the biscuit
Winging life....

I'd say you'll struggle finding any "reputable dealers" selling sub £1500 cars as legally they need to provide you with a 3 month warranty. You're best bet is probably the Autotrader "Bargain Buys" section and take someone who knows their onions along with you to any viewings.0

Also, if you do pick a private car out of autotrader, phone and say 'you have a car for sale' which will help identify traders operating beneath the radar, also address on tax book should match address you are view the car at. You will be surprised at how many people are 'selling the car for their uncle'.0
