Nitty Gritty Headlice comb

This is supposed to be the rolls royce of nit combs which doesnt need chemical solutions to remove the live nits but more importantly the eggs aswell.

The price instore at Boots is £9.94, looking on ebay bestrice appears to be £7.99 inc postage

Anyone know where I could get it cheaper?

Thanks

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Haven't found it cheaper but just wanted to say it works very well, cleared them from our house and we now use it regularly for checking and it still looks like new. Seems a lot for a little comb but when you look at the price of the lotions it suddenly seems good value!

Can you get it on the "minor ailments" thingy with the chemist?

But simplest way to get the wee blighters is simply to slap on a load of cheap conditioner and comb through with one of those cheapy cheapy plastic nit combs that you can buy 2 for £1 at chemist. And just comb through a segment at a time.

My wee girls went to a tiny village school, where all kids from nursery to 11 were split over just 3 classes. One family who were nit infested had a child in each class. So it was a permant part of our routine.

Believe me, cheap conditioner and cheap comb is quick, easy, pain free and works.

You need to do it every 10 days until you get a clear head. Which means if you've a nit infested family in the school that it just keeps going on for ever :(
  • they sell them in Sainsburys too.

I bit the bullet & bought a nitty Gritty comb a couple of months ago,& it is the best £10 i have ever spent!(well, nearly!).I have 3 children at school who seemed to continually have nits no matter how many times i conditioned & combed,Nitty Gritty has completely cleared them.It pulls out the eggs as well as the nits, and also got rid of all the empty egg shells,it is fantastic.
