Background music during wedding breakfast

Hello again my lovely people

Cam any of you recommend a good CD that has nice relaxing background music to be played during Wedding Breakfast and possibly during Welcome drinks.

I quite like Celtic music, or easy listening, maybe bit of classical but tunes that people would know.

I bought the Wedding CD from Classic FM but that is more for Ceremony songs but isn't much good.

Thanks

Someone suggested string quartet tributes on another thread. I've found loads of songs that I plan on using, mostly when people are being seated but it will probably be ideal for a wedding breakfast too. The songs will be familiar but not overpowering!

I can't recommend a particular CD, but would some soft Jazz be nice? I always think it is easy on the ear. If you want classics, then I think there are smooth classics CDs from Classic FM too. Enya is always good for soothing celtic I think too.
  • Type piano or string tributes into iTunes and you will see many tribute acts playing your fav. pop songs.

My favs are the Vitamin String Quartet and David Sides (piano).

We have choosen some rock / heavy metal songs, but played on strings.
They sound good, and people will recognise them.
There is no way we would be playing the original songs at the reception (not suitable for the parentals!!)

I am playing my enya cd,s during dinner, theres a lovely mix on there, all very soft, all very relaxing and perfect for background, some piano music and some more celtic.
We are having a string quartet during the ceremony and signing and for drinks afterwards. They will be gone by the time we sit down to dinner but I still want more gentle music. After dinner the music is down to OH to arrange so it will be rock and metal.
