forced to buy a bike lock at centreparcs

I hope this is the correct forum. I wanted to ask advice?

We often go to centreparcs and hire bikes. The price of bikes included locks, however if you had your own you could save £2.50 per bike. However now you pay the higher price and are given a lock wether you already have one or not.
This "freebie" means the price for a bike has jumped from £13 to £17 per person. This adds up to a lot of money when you go as a family a couple of times a year.
It seems very money grabbing and We would like to know the best way to challenge what is basically an unfair stealth charge for an unwanted product; or are we simply in a take it or leave it situation.

Bring youor own bikes ?

Mainly because unscruptulous people turn up early and pinch the bikes laying on the floor where people just dump them when they can't be bothered to return them ;-)
