Where do you look for a job in Edinburgh ? Australian BF moving here

Where do you look for jobs in Edinburgh these days ? My BF is moving over from Australia soon and needs to find a job.

I went straight from uni into employment and so did he and neither of us have ever had a CV ! We are putting one together, is it best to register is with someone ?

His background is engineering / manufacturing, but he's happy to do anything as long as he's working.

Can some locals give me some tips on where to look ? The only one I've heard of is s1jobs as I've seen it advertised on the tv and I just don't know where else to look.
