It is clear that the Labour Party / governbment has little idea on how to run the economy and the ublic finances.
They need some help. What about bringing in people from other parties or positions to help them out in a 'government of all talents'.
For starters good Tory chancellors of the past with proper experieince in running finances should be brought in. Ken Clarke, Norris Lamont and even Nigel Lawson could all offer valuable and vital experieince in these times.
You could even argue for including Vince Cable (Liberal) in the government and offer him sort sort of cabinet post so he could lend his wisomd also.
Until the next election when there will be change the government needs as much help as possible for the good of the country.

I don't think this will help really, as we all know, we have been told umpteen times, Brown knows best.
It's easier for him to simply nick ideas from the opostion and then call them the do nothing party (not that they can do anything, but don't let technicalities get in the way of running the country) than having to actually agree with said do nothing party and give them some of the credit.0 -
I've said this recently, we seem to be so deep in it it's almost as if you need to get the best of the crop and get them together and try to sort it out. But who chooses them. It would be like the school football match with the cr4p ones left behind, and Gordon is still captain because it's his ball.I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0

Christ, don't let the Tories get involved.0

A government that didn't consist of vested interest politicians might be of some use. I think I have finally had enough of government. I think the Queen should sack the lot of them, and get her loyal civil servants led by Chumley-Warner to sort it out.
This is not a throwaway joke post. I have honestly had enough of these lying little people whose one aim in life is to feather their own nests, and get voted in again for some more pie eating. That's two aims.0
