Wescot Accepted Offer

Westcot accept an offer for my partner's mother's huge £15,000 debt of just £5 per month.

This is great for her at the moment, she feels a lot calmer now.

Obviously it won't go down very far, but it'll get them off her back for a while at least.

If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
  • Thats good to know as 2 of my husband debts have been passed to Wescot and they have been offered £5 a month on each for outstanding balances of £200 and £300. Ill be shocked if they did not accept them.

It's still a good idea to request the CCA, if they can't produce it, they can't move the debt on
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional
  • Is that OK? I mean she isn't trying to hide from it, so I didn't think we should get the CCA. Have we done wrong?

Not wrong. Just if you get the CCA (or not) it helps to clarify the situation and you know if the debt is enforceable in nthe courts.
