I give in, no sensible, mature discussion to be had here. Well, at least I tried.

You give in cos you are a liar, and massively stupid too.

You said "post facts and figures" directly after I post facts and figures and nothing else for 3 post in a row.

face it sonshine the value of your beloved house is plummeting and theres eff all you can do about it.

especially desperate attempts at ramping the market on a tiny part of a website on the internet.

Its one of the most pathetic things I have ever witnessed

The OP does'nt say prices are gonna rise, you seem to be in the band of brothers that think 4 bed properties are gonna be fetching £70k in the not to distant future.
    Best of luck.

Don't worry about this guy, ess0two. If you try and engage with them they just drag you down to their level and you look as bad as they do. You could state that a day is 24hrs long and they would still argue against you, not because they believe a day is 25 hrs long but simply because they want an argument.

I have had a break from this particular forum for a while, and I have decided to continue posting and discuss with sensible people and to ignore the rest. If scouse wanted a reasonable discussion then he would use reasonable language. He simply wants to wind me up and hence he's on my ever increasing ignore list. As I said in an earlier post - no point continuing the discussion with this chap, time to move on.

lol JB. I have that clown on ignore so didn't see this absurd post until you quoted it.

"searching the globe for a single person who gives a monkeys who's on your 'ignore list'? I bet you never found one. " - well, clearly, it looks like I've found at least one. ;)

Basically HPI has doubled my mortgage debt - hence my laughter at scousethife and others who somehow think that anyone who bought before the boom is 'rolling in it' and wishes the boom would continue.

Your own decision to trade up and take on more debt in the house price bubble boom.

"If you are wise you will dread a prosperity which only loads you with more debt."

I'll wait for the house-price-deflation to take it back to £78K or lower. Thanks.

I won't be a sacrifice on your altar for your hopes to keep current house prices supported - when the deflationary pressures weighting down on house prices are so immensely heavy.
Each UK job 'chased by 10 people'

There is an average of 10 jobseekers for every vacancy advertised in UK jobcentres, the TUC has warned.

The trade union body said the ratio - which applies to unemployed people who are claiming jobseeker allowance - had more than doubled over the past year.

The TUC said that while 10 unemployed people were chasing every advertised job in January of 2009, a year earlier it was only four per vacancy.

In 25 council areas there were now more than 20 people per job, it added.

Well, so long as you don't let it get to you DD. I don't think very many here, me included, can claim always to have been on best behaviour.

I've been very, very close to leaving, but I can't get to look without it automatically logging on, so end up chirping up.:o

Hmm such a large ignore list eh

Could that be cos he says buy now before its too late , yet claims to not have said dont miss the boat.

Same statement different words. Typical of a weak liar on the internet.

Then I posted 3 posts, all facts and figures

and he says "post some facts and figures" imediately after??????

He thinks Im trying to wind him up, not at all I am simply pointing out his lies and selfish property ramping.

If anyone wants to follow his advice then feel free, I personaly would rather take the advice of a ceasar salad and garlic baguete than him
Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. The one where you showed us Dithering Dad is a complete liar. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE Forum Team

With the gilt failure today, and June futures already being marked down, QE is just going to make things worse. The government have 3 options..

    1. Put IR's up
    2. Slash public spending.
    3. Errr, print more money.

Of course Brown would want to do No.3, which will work for today and tomorrow, but will eventually destroy the UK economy...... so Brown, what's it going to be ??

    1. Yes to attract the money required to fund the PSBR
    2. Yes to give investors confidence that UK plc isn't heading the way of Iceland.
    3. No. As Obama is going to find out when the Chinese sell out of the US dollar. Whose going to want GBP ?

We may well end up with rising interest rates with negative growth in the economy. Not a great thought. As the lack of payroll inflation will make borrowed money of any description expensive in the medium term.
