Help! letter from 1st Credit re Marbles debt
Comments

Hi again, Just to bring this thread up to date. I got another letter from 1st Credit about a week ago, saying that they had requested the CCA from Marbles, and that once I had received it I should contact them to pay the debt. Haven't received anything from Marbles yet, and the 12+2 was up last Thursday so was planning on sending the 2nd letter today ( because of easter). However, in todays post I got a letter from Capquest asking me to contact them to make arrangements to pay this same debt! Now do I contact Capquest and ask for a CCA, contact marbles with the 12+2 letter, or what? Thanks x0

Send ---> THIS <---- to Capquest perhaps?
If you feel that you need to send a reminder letter about the original CCA request, then that should be directed to 1st Credit rather than Marbles. You made the request to 1st Credit, and it is their duty to obtain the agreement from the original creditor and then supply it to you.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

UPDATE!!!Spoke to Capquest on phone when they rang again, and they agreed to put account on hold for 2 weeks whilst the CCA was located. Then got a letter from them to say account was on hold for a further 28 days. Yesterday got a letter from Marbles to say they couldn't locate my 'historic CCA' but sent me a current unsigned one instead. Today get a letter from 1st Credit with a slip attached saying here is the info you requested. Its an unsigned CCA with my name and address printed on the top but someone else's account number and credit limit, definitely not mine. Who do I write to and say its all rubbish ( in as many words)? Or shall I just wait and see what turns up next? I actually CCA'd 1st Credit but its now with Capquest. Thanks x0
