Special Edition - 2 disc is priced at the moment at £5.99 (free p+p) whilst the 1 disc edition is priced at 17.99 - think they're the wrong way round. Anyway, my order is 'shipped' now and all the details say it is indeed to the special edition 2 disc version

It's not a misprice. The reason it's been reduced is because a new 2 disc special edition has just been released. The single disc edition was released in 2004. This 2 disc edition was released in 2002. The new one came out on the 20th Feb. 2006.

If it is a mistake beware. I bought a cd single from them which was the one with the video at 1.99. A different one (without the video) arrived! Was extremely annoyed and checked site. They stil had mine as 1.99 but also saw a different version (the one sent) as 2,99. They got them the wrong way round but catalogue was right so sent me the non video format one.

Complained and complained - they kept insisting they were right to have sent me what they had even though I sent them the screen captures. Gave up in the end as it wasnt worth the assle for 1.99. They never got back to me. Extremely annoyed

I still buy singles (once in a while) from HMV, mainly down to them being one of the few places I find stock a large selection. I do agree though, they seem to make occasional mistakes when the single is available on two CDs. It has however once been in my favour, where they mistakenly sent me an album when I ordered the single!
